Fairy Kink Mother
Fairy kink mother is a BDSM role in which a person acts as a more knowledgeable and experienced maternal/paternal/parental figure that you can go to for help and advice within the kink scene. A fairy kink mother may act as a mentor, guide, educator, connector, advocate, or source of support within the kink community.
Kinky godmother is another term used for this role. It could also be referred to more broadly as a Fairy Kink Parent.
The term is inspired by the fairy godmother archetype and is often used affectionately for someone who helps make kinky wishes come true. They may do this by offering advice, introducing people to new experiences, recommending resources, providing validation, or connecting people with compatible partners and communities.
In some versions of this role, the fairy kink mother also has a relationship with the person they are mentoring, giving them everything they wish for kink-wise. That could mean roping them up, beating them to their heart's desire, and more. ("We do it because our heart burns for them," says one FetLife member.) But many people argue that mentor relationships should remain platonic.
