Bratty Top
A Bratty Top (or Bratty Dom or Top Brat) is a Dominant partner or Top who plays with teasing, taunting, or playful disobedience. A Bratty Top might use humor, mock arrogance, or light “misbehavior” to provoke, fluster, or challenge their partner. A Bratty Top might sound and behave like a Brat but will act as the Top in the scene.
Where a bratty bottom resists authority from below, a bratty top tests their partner from above. The focus is still mutual fun and consent, not cruelty or humiliation (unless that’s negotiated).
A Bratty Top might:
- Use teasing as a way of control by acting smug, bossy, or overstatedly cocky (“You’re lucky I even let you breathe”).
- Exaggerate punishments or orders for comic effect.
- Enjoy flirting in a way that makes their partner react, blush, or talk back.
The Bratty Top dynamic works when both partners understand the "brattiness" part of the fantasy, and that it's about dominance and mischief, not disrespect.
Note that brattiness never cancels responsibility. A bratty top must still read body language, respect safe words, and deliver aftercare.
