Goddess
A Goddess is an identity, role, or archetype often associated with feminine-aligned power, self-reverence, and authority. In kink and relationship contexts, the term is used in several distinct but overlapping ways:
- A Domme who centers their dominance around worship, devotion, admiration, and reverence. This may include body worship, devotion, and power exchange rooted in elevation rather than punishment or control.
- A person who embodies natural, non-sexual dominance without engaging in explicit BDSM dynamics. They may not engage in control or power rituals, relying instead on an innate sense of nurturing and care. This type of Goddess views others as beloved subjects, devotees or worshippers.
- A self-identification focused on personal empowerment and self-reverence, independent of dominance or kink. In this context, a Goddess identifies and honors her own divine feminine essence. She is a self-empowered and sensual being that prioritizes self-love and self-care, honoring her own intuition and boundaries.
Not all Goddesses identify as Dominants, and not all Dominants who use Goddess language engage in traditional power exchange.
