Guardian

A guardian is usually a guiding role where a person helps someone learn, grow, and navigate kink or dynamics over time.

A guardian may introduce their charge to community, encourage learning from others, and support independent exploration. They provide protection and guidance when needed, but often step back to allow the the person to learn and make mistakes.

The guardian role is usually defined by protection and guidance rather than dominance or submission.
