A captive usually refers to a person who takes the submissive role in a scene where one person (the Captor) is “holding” or “controlling” another. This role often involves powerlessness, restraint, or forced service (always consensual and pre-negotiated).

While this role may involve forced or non-consensual themes in fantasy, they rely on rigorous consent, safe words, and clear negotiation. CNC scenes involving captor/captive play are often planned in advance with strong aftercare.
