Strawberry
In the kink community, a strawberry is someone who has few kinks or fetishes and may not consider themselves to be very kinky but also doesn't consider themselves to be completely vanilla. In some circles, the term "vanilla with sprinkles" is used to mean the same thing.
Some people also define the term as a kinster who is not interested in hardcore play, or even traditional BDSM, but still considers themselves kinky.
Outside of the scene, in certain parts of the U.S., this term may also be used as slang to refer to someone who is a sex worker in return for drugs.
In certain parts of the world, the term refers to those who look promising at first, but spoil easily under pressure.
Origins of the Term
Strawberry is a relatively new term in BDSM circles. Google Search data suggests that there was no significant search volume for it before 2022.
