Research Slut
A research slut is a kink role for someone who is aroused by the technical, curious, and methodical side of kink.
People in this role enjoy learning how things work, planning scenes, and exploring the “why” and “how” behind sensations, safety, and play. They may be drawn to things like medical themes, experimental or “mad scientist” aesthetics, or being someone’s eager study partner. Research sluts often get excited by rules, protocols, checklists, anatomy, and the careful preparation that goes into a scene.
For many, the appeal is in being valued for their curiosity, organization, and willingness to explore. Being praised for doing their “homework,” understanding risks, or discovering new tools and techniques can feel just as sexy as the play itself.
