Bottom Bitch

In kink or BDSM, bottom bitch is an informal and provocative term occasionally used to describe a submissive with a favored, trusted, or senior position in a polyamorous or D/s dynamic. While not a standard kink role, it may appear in scenes or dynamics that play with hierarchy, status, or edgy language.

In kink spaces, this term may be:

  • Used ironically or playfully by a submissive to signal status, pride, or endurance (e.g., “I’m their bottom bitch”).
  • Applied to a sub who manages or helps guide other subs under a shared Dominant.
  • Used in edgier power exchange scenes that explore taboo, degradation, or “street” aesthetics.

Origins of the Term

The term originated in street slang, particularly in pimping culture, where it referred to a sex worker who held status or influence in a pimp’s stable. Because of this origin, some people feel the phrase carries problematic and potentially triggering connotations.
