Pet Owner
In BDSM, a Pet Owner is someone who takes the Dominant or Caretaker role in a pet play dynamic. A Pet Owner is the person who “owns” or looks after a partner who takes on the role of a pet (like a puppy, kitten, pony, etc.). The Pet Owner might give commands, set rules, offer rewards, and provide structure or affection, much like a real pet owner would.
The focus can be loving and nurturing, strict and training-based, or a mix of both, depending on what the people involved enjoy and agree to.
