Attention seeker usually refers to someone who enjoys receiving lots of focus, notice, and validation from others. An attention seeker may enjoy receiving compliments, affection, messages, or other forms of positive attention.

The term does not necessarily imply provocative or sexual behavior. It can simply describe someone who enjoys receiving a lot of focus and validation from others.
