Sensory Toy
Sensory toy is a role in BDSM and kink in which someone enjoys having their body treated as a source of sensory stimulation or exploration for another person.
A sensory toy may enjoy being touched, stroked, squeezed, rubbed, or otherwise physically explored for the textures, sensations, or reactions their body provides. The appeal often comes from being something their partner can play with, fidget with, or use for sensory enjoyment.
The role can overlap with sensation play and consensual objectification, but the focus is generally on providing sensory experiences for another person rather than receiving sensations themselves. Some sensory toys also enjoy the sensations they experience in return.
When not used as a role, a sensory toy is a toy often used in sex and sensory play to produce a specific sensation. Common examples include a Whartenburg wheel or a feather tickler.
