Sugar Daddy
A sugar daddy is usually an older or wealthier man who gives money, gifts, trips, or other support to a sugar baby. The relationship is agreed on by both people. It may include dating, companionship, intimacy, or sex.
Some sugar daddies also take on a provider or mentor role. They may offer advice, help with career opportunities, or use their connections to support their partner.
Sugar daddy dynamics can overlap with D/s, provider/protector roles, age-gap fantasies, financial control, or other kinks. But a sugar daddy is not automatically a Dominant or part of BDSM. The main feature is financial or material support.
The term can also be used more casually. Someone might jokingly or affectionately call a generous partner their sugar daddy because he pays for things, spoils them, or likes taking care of them, even if they are not in a formal sugar relationship.
