A Big Sister is a BDSM role describing a platonic connection that includes sisterly activities, or is so strong that it feels sisterly.

"Big" doesn't necessarily refer to age but more typically refers to someone who has a higher/mentor role and is protective, nurturing, or acting as a guide.
