Oral Slave
An oral slave is someone who enjoys giving a partner control over their mouth during oral sex. This is called oral servitude or oral slavery. They may like being told what to do, positioned, trained, praised, degraded, or used for their partner’s pleasure. The role is often service-focused and may not involve equal or reciprocal pleasure.
Being an oral slave is about using oral service to express submission, obedience, devotion, or objectification within a negotiated power dynamic. It may overlap with roles or interests such as service submissive, sex slave, cock worshipper, pussy worshipper, face-sitting, or oral fixation. It is also common in FemDom dynamics.

Origins of the Term
The precise origins of oral slave are unknown, but the term has been used sexually since at least the early 1970s. One of the earliest documented examples appears in a 1971 issue of Adz Gayzette, a San Francisco newspaper serving the gay community. A classified ad offered the services of an “oral slave,” while a later version advertised oral service “on command.” The label continued to appear in gay personals and leather-oriented publications throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
These early examples suggest that oral slave first circulated as an informal label for someone who enjoyed providing submissive or enthusiastic oral service. It was later adopted more broadly within BDSM and FemDom communities as a role connected with oral servitude, obedience, worship, and power exchange.
Ways to Play: How to Be an Oral Slave
Want to worship someone as an oral slave or receive the oral attention as a Dominant? Every dynamic is different, but here are some basic tips:
Define the Role
Decide whether oral slavery will be used in occasional scenes, as part of a broader D/s dynamic, or as an ongoing form of service submission.
Discuss the Activities Involved
Talk clearly about which activities your version of oral slavery will include. These might be cunnilingus, fellatio, rimming, facesitting, deep-throating, swallowing, bondage, humiliation, or orgasm control. Agreeing to one does not mean agreeing to all of them.
Set Limits and Safety Signals
Establish hard limits, softer boundaries, and a clear way to pause or stop. Because speaking may be difficult during oral service, hand signals, a tapping pattern, or an object the submissive can drop can be used instead.
Create Service Protocols
Some partners develop rules around kneeling, positioning, eye contact, speech, clothing, asking permission, or how service begins and ends. These rituals can make the power exchange feel more structured.
Learn the Dominant’s Preferences
Good oral service is usually specific to the person receiving it. For the submissive, part of oral servitude is about learning their Dominant's preferred pace, pressure, techniques, positions, language, and signs of pleasure.
Practice Gradually
Training as an oral slave may involve repeating preferred techniques, learning commands, holding certain positions, or slowly introducing more demanding activities. There is no need to attempt everything at once.
Ask for Feedback
After a scene, talk about what felt good, what became uncomfortable, and what should change next time. Clear feedback is more useful than expecting the submissive to guess.
Remember That Consent Still Applies
Being an oral slave does not mean being available at all times or accepting every command. Negotiate what will (and will not) be included in your scenes with your partner.
