A foot fetishist (also called podophile) is someone who experiences strong sexual interest or arousal centered around feet or related items like shoes and socks. A foot fetishist might be drawn to the look, feel, smell, or even taste of feet, and enjoy activities such as massaging, kissing, licking, or worshipping them. Boots and other footwear often play a key role, especially in BDSM scenes where leather boots symbolize dominance and power.
This form of fetishism is one of the most common body-part fetishes - studies find nearly half of fetish communities online focus on feet.
