Lover Boy
Lover boy generally refers to a boy (or masc-identifying person) who embraces romance and is openly affectionate and expressive in love. They may like flirting, giving compliments, planning dates, showing devotion, cuddling, or focusing closely on a partner’s pleasure.
For some, lover boy is a positive term that celebrates men who are passionate, expressive, and unapologetically romantic in their pursuit of love and relationships. The term may also be used casually as a pet name for a romantic or sexual partner.
Lover boy should not be confused with the loverboy method, in which someone pretends to be a loving partner in order to manipulate or exploit another person.
