Rascal
Rascal is usually a submissive role for someone who enjoys being mischievous, feisty, cheeky, or playfully challenging within a power dynamic. A rascal may tease, test boundaries, or push back a little as a way of creating connection, building trust, or checking that it feels safe to submit.
The role overlaps with brat, but may feel more playful, lighthearted, or trickster-like. Some people also prefer rascal because brat does not fit how they see themselves or carries associations they do not like. Rascal does not necessarily imply seeking punishment or provoking a physical response. For some rascals, the mischief is more about sass, teasing, or playful resistance.
