Big Brother

In BDSM, a Big Brother is role describing a platonic connection that includes brotherly activities, or is so strong that it feels brotherly.

"Big" doesn't necessarily refer to age but more typically refers to someone who has a higher/mentor role and is protective, nurturing, or acts as a guide.
