Commander

In BDSM, the term Commander refers to a Dominant partner who takes on an authoritative and leadership role in a power exchange dynamic. The Commander is in charge of directing the scene as a villain or hero, usually referring to sci-fi or military BDSM role plays.

For example, in a scene where the commander instructs the submissive to complete a series of tasks - such as following specific commands or wearing particular items of clothing - the commander might emphasize discipline and obedience, while also being attentive to the emotional and physical well-being of the submissive(s).

The Commander may be similar to Knight, Villain, or King role.
