Programmer

A Programmer is usually someone who enjoys shaping or directing their partner's behavior through commands, conditioning, routines, or psychological control. The term is particularly associated with dronification, mind control roleplay, and erotic hypnosis.

A Programmer may establish rules, triggers, routines, or specific responses that their partner is expected to follow. In dronification, for example, a Programmer may treat their partner as a human machine or drone, assigning commands and behaviors that reinforce the fantasy of being programmed to obey.

For the Programmer, the appeal often lies in the idea of shaping another person's actions, identity, or responses. The receiving partner may enjoy surrendering control or experiencing the fantasy of being reprogrammed.

Although Programmers typically take a dominant role, the dynamic does not necessarily involve a traditional Dominance and submission (D/s) relationship.
