Emotional Sadist
An emotional sadist is someone who engages in sadism with a primary preference for psychological/emotional pain over physical pain.
This generally means someone whose erotic landscape is built around humiliating, degrading, and inspiring shame in someone else, or simply igniting feelings like stress, fear and thrill in them.
An emotional sadist is the counterpart to an emotional masochist.
