In a BDSM context, kitten can be defined as follows:
- A person who enjoys roleplay as a kitten or cat.
- A person who exhibits playful, cute, and sometimes bratty behavior, often with a submissive undertone or as an expression of their submissive identity.
- FetLifeKitty: A portmanteau of FetLife and Kitten, this term is used similarly to the secondary usage. A FetLifeKitty is an exhibitionist online or on set, such as while filming. However, they are generally shy or reserved off-set or in-person. They are a smart-ass or capable of bratting like a normal kitten, but they can also have a demure, coquettish nature.
