Mentor

As a BDSM role, a mentor is an experienced and knowledgeable advisor or guide. For mentors in D/s, the mentor typically shares the same role (Dominant or submissive) as the mentee, and they usually do not engage in play or a power exchange relationship with each other. Mentors may focus on specific skills rather than D/s, such as rope or impact or other types of play, in which case they may engage in those skills with the mentee for demonstration purposes, with no power exchange or sexual activities occurring between them.
