A Leather Mommy is usually someone who combines nurturing, caregiving, and authority within a BDSM or power-exchange relationship, specifically with a leather aesthetic or identity. It is considered a variation of the Mommy Domme archetype - except this Mommy wears leather gear - jackets, gloves, boots, harnesses - to visually and symbolically assert her dominance, strength, and connection to the leather subculture.
