Pet
A person, usually a submissive, who participates in pet play, often under the direction of a Handler, but sometimes participates amongst other pets as a member of a pack. They may identify as an animal pet, but human pets exist as well.
Human pets may not have a particular pet identity in mind, but find enjoyment in some basic elements of the role of being a pet such as being kept in a cage and fed out of a bowl, which are common amongst many types of pets, and don’t really distinguish any particular animal role.
A pet can choose any animal they want. Sometimes the role can differ substantially based on the gender and age of the animal being played as well. Ideas for animal roles may include:
- Canines such as domesticated dogs or puppies, foxes, wolves.
- Felines such as cats or kittens.
- Birds or fowl such as chickens, ducks, geese, or exotic birds.
- Bunnies
- Ferrets
- Other rodents such as mice, rats, hamsters or guinea pigs.
- Equestrian animals such as Horses, ponies, mules or donkeys.
- Cattle such as cows, bulls, heifers, calves, or oxen.
- Pigs
- Other livestock like lambs, sheep, camels, llamas, or goats.
- Fish
- Reptiles, or amphibian such as a snake, turtle, tortoise, lizard, salamander, frog or toad.
Some pets are treated like they are beloved and owned while other pets and their owners or handlers prefer a more degrading or humiliating role.
Although pets are often submissive, there are Alpha Pets who may prefer to play in a pack, and take on a more dominant role without playing with an Owner or Handler.
Many pets like both being submissive to a handler and being part of a pack with alphas being the leaders, betas taking a supportive leadership role, and omegas preferring to be led by another member of the pack. Some pets don’t enjoy pack dynamics at all.
